Welcome to Hotel SOLA! Please take a moment to read through our Terms & Conditions, which outline important information regarding your stay with us. By booking a reservation, you agree to abide by these terms.
Rates & Payment
- Our room rates are based on a Bed & Breakfast package, net of service charge, including all statutory levies.
- The Full accommodation payment, together with the applicable service charge, is required to confirm your booking and will be charged at the time of booking through our marketing agent, SOLA UG. Failure to make payment will result in your booking being cancelled.
- Additional expenses such as food, beverages, and other extras can be settled by card or cash at checkout.
Cancellation Policy
- 30 days or more prior to the arrival date: No cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the date of arrival: 100% cancellation fee
- No-shows: 100% cancellation fee.
- No changes or cancellations are allowed within 30 days of arrival
- If a guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent will not be refunded
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days from date of cancellation and in the same currency as originally paid.
Special Notice for Peak Season:
Payments or Deposits for bookings made at special rates or during the super peak season (20 December to 15 January) are non-refundable.
Travel Insurance & Unforeseen Circumstances
We strongly advise all guests to arrange comprehensive travel insurance when making a booking. SOLA does not provide insurance services and is unable to offer refunds, credits, or date changes beyond the cancellation terms set out above.
This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations or amendments due to booking mistakes, illness or injury, the illness or death of a family member, flight cancellations or delays, airline schedule changes, missed connections, visa-related issues, changes to work or personal plans, government actions, geopolitical events, travel restrictions, force majeure, or any other circumstances outside our control.
By completing a booking, guests confirm that they understand and accept that these risks remain their responsibility, and that travel insurance is the appropriate way to protect against them.
Pets Policy
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate pets at this time.
Guest Belongings
- Hotel SOLA is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal items during your stay.
- If you leave an item behind, we will do our best to keep it safe and can arrange to ship it to you at your expense.
- Unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity or discarded after 30 days.
Swimming Pool Rules
- Please note that our pool is unsupervised. Guests swim at their own risk.
- For health and safety reasons, smoking, glassware, porcelain plates, or other breakable items are not permitted in the pool area.
- Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult while in the pool.
Non-Smoking Policy
- For safety reasons, smoking is strictly prohibited inside our rooms and within the immediate vicinity of the building due to the flammable nature of the property’s materials.
- Designated smoking areas are available for your convenience.
Parking & Vehicles
- We offer limited parking spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.
- While we strive to ensure the safety of your vehicle, guests park at their own risk. Hotel SOLA is not responsible for any theft or damage to vehicles or belongings inside them.
Liability
- Hotel SOLA’s liability is limited to instances of willful misconduct or gross negligence by our employees or agents.
- We are not responsible for death, personal injury, or loss or damage to personal property unless caused by our failure to exercise reasonable skill and care.
- Third party liability: The hotel is not liable for any services rendered by third parties to our guests, even if arranged by us. Any claims or disputes regarding third-party services must be addressed directly with the service provider.
