Driven by our passion to create meaningful journeys in the heart of nature, we built a hotel in the Jungle of Ahangama, Sri Lanka.
Our intimate boutique hotel features eight thoughtfully designed suites, along with a spacious open pavilion seamlessly integrated into nature. Nestled within 3 acres of lush jungle, SOLA provides the perfect sanctuary to unwind.
When we discovered SOLA, the land was an active estate cultivated by local farmers, home to 150 coconut trees, a 1,000 sqm tea plantation, and 500 sqm of cinnamon.
Since beginning our journey in 2021, we’ve planted an abundance of new tea and coffee plants alongside young rainforest trees, flame trees, and a vibrant variety of tropical fruits. Today, the estate flourishes with pineapple, lemon, pepper, red and torch ginger, guava, rambutan, avocado, mango, and more.
SOLA is also blessed with remarkable wildlife.
The property is home to purple-faced langur monkeys, peacocks, mongooses, and civets, along with a diverse range of birdlife and butterflies.
